I know that everyone has concerns and fears regarding the new strain of the coronavirus.  I want to let you know about the procedures we have in place at Haley Willingham Photography so that you can be sure we have you and your baby’s health as our top priority.

At Haley Willingham Photography nothing is more important than your newborn’s or child’s safety.  I take every percussion to maintain a sterile environment in the studio to protect you and your family from any germs and diseases.  I want you to know that these practices were always in place and will remain to be in place once the carnivorous scare is over.  It is important to always maintain a safe and germ free environment when working with newborns.  

My studio is located outside of my home in Shepherdstown, West Virginia so there is no threat of kids, pets, or others coming in and out of the studio daily spreading germs.  The only people in the studio are my clients and myself.  When you arrive at the studio and find your parking space right outside you will open the door and walk up the steps into my studio.  No other business uses this entrance.  This eliminates the fear of being around multiple people or an area multiple people have access to.

Before your session I wash my hands thoroughly with soap and water.  I have hand sanitizer around the studio that I use all the time throughout your session to make sure my hands are very clean whenever I am touching baby.  Everything in the studio is disinfected after and before each session.  Anything that my clients or myself touch or could have touched is disinfected.  Wraps and blankets that come into contact with baby are washed after each session as an extra precaution.  I also spray lysol on surfaces and in the air after each session to help sterilize any germs that might be on cloth surfaces or in the air.  

Anyone who is sick or is showing signs of sickness are not allowed in the studio.  I will gladly reschedule your session if you or your child are showing signs of sickness.  If you do show up sick at the studio you will not be allow to come into the studio and will need to reschedule your session.  I have very little clients in my studio and it is my number one priority to keep them safe.  Additionally if I am showing any signs of sickness I will reschedule your session for after I am better and symptom free.  During this time I am pretty much keeping myself in isolation avoiding large crowds and staying home when I am not with my clients.  I take my job and the health of your baby VERY seriously and I would never put them in an kind of danger.

I know that there are fears with this virus and as parents of a new little one you want to keep them as safe as possible and that is my goal as well.  I assure you that my studio is much safer and germ free then hospitals and pediatrician offices that your newborn has already been in contact with.  

While I recommend that you limit taking your newborn baby out in public and in crowded areas my studio is a very safe and isolated location.
