I can’t believe it but my baby is 1! This year has flown by so fast and I just want time to slow down. With Chance I can honestly say I have taken everything in. I have enjoyed every single moment. Even those 2 months that he did not want to sleep at all. There was a time I thought I would never have these moments. After we lost our son Oliver I thought that I wasn’t going to have another Chance to have a son her on earth. I had begun to accept my life with 3 amazing girls and how lucky I was to have them. Then, it happened. I found out I was pregnant and again and it was very scary to say the least. The thought of losing another baby was terrifying. When we found out we were having another son my husband and I decided to name him Chance. He was our second chance to raise a little man.

From the moment Chance entered our lives it felt like our family was complete. He is the light in our lives. He help to heal some of the hurt in our hearts and help to show us that bad things happen but good things happen too.

For Chance’s Cake Smash Session we choose a super hero theme because his Dad loves super heros and because he is our little hero. This is also the introduction of our Smash and Splash sessions! First we do photos without the cake, then with the cake and then with a bath tub to wash off the cake! These sessions are going to be so much fun!
